Listed below are descriptions of the products we use to
imprint our designs and/or your photos on. We spend many hours and many
imprints to test what gives the best color and durability for our
products. All our images are printed by computer using special sublimation
inks to transfer our designs to the blank products. Each design is then placed
by hand and heat pressed into the surface of the item making each one
a true unique piece of artwork.
| T-shirts |
We use heavyweight 50/50
poly/cotton t-shirts to imprint our designs into. We use white
shirts for the best image. We do not use customer shirts due to the
fact some garments from some companies do not meet our requirements or do
not produce the image results we like. Images are heat pressed onto
the shirt and have a slight "hand" or stiffness which becomes
softer with washing. |
T-shirts
Hanes SoftL'ink® |
Occasionally we use this
specialized shirt for our imprints. It is a cotton shirt with a
polyester outside. Sublimation imprints need a synthetic fiber to
bond to so this shirt was developed for that. It has no hand and has
vibrant results. |
| Sweatshirts |

| Mouse pads |
We use the standard size mouse pad
with a fabric top which we imprint the design onto. The
back is 0.25 inch black, rubber backing. |
| Mugs |
We pride ourselves on our
mug designs. Unlike the mugs you may get in the mall with a photo
imprinted on only one side or the middle of the mug, our standard is to
imprint the photo or image on both sides of the mug so that you can see it
using either hand. After all, you are paying for a mug, it should be
decorated all around. Some of our designs are full mug designs in
which case the design is imprinted once, but goes from handle to
handle.
Our designs are heat imprinted using sublimation which imbeds the image
into the surface of the mug making it quite resistant to scratching.
Our mugs are microwave and dishwasher safe, but since these images are
heat pressed, the high temperatures found in a microwave and dishwasher,
may over time wear out the image faster than a mug not used in the heating
process or hand washed. |
| Wall Clock |
Our wall clocks are
approximately 11" around with a black frame and an image area of
approximately 8" in diameter. The clocks feature the hour,
minute, and second hands powered by a AA battery. The image is heat
pressed into the surface of the special hardboard clock face to bring
stunning color to a great piece of art. Since UV light found in
sunlight can fade just about anything, we suggest to hang your clock in an
area which is not exposed to high amount of UV light to avoid fading the
vivid graphics. |
| Ornaments (Unisub®) |
Our current ornaments are
made of a special type of material called Unisub® which is specifically
made for sublimation imprinting. It allows us to heat imprint images
into the surface of the ornament with sunning bright graphics on one, or
both sides. They come in different shapes but are flat, not round
like a sphere or ball. Each ornament has a hole on top for inserting
a hook or string to hang it.
We design a rear logo for each year with a different design and the
year to imprint on one side of the ornament and the other side has your
photo or one of our designs on it. This makes your ornaments special
because they are different every year.
