When visiting other photo sites, often I see prices in the
hundreds of dollars per print, how come yours are so much less?
Photo prices are set by the artist and often the more famous the artist, the
more expensive the print. Brian Tricoli could price his prints much higher
if he desired, but this may make them out of reach to some people who may wish
to have some of these beautiful prints. Therefore, he has priced them so
many people can enjoy the photos. He would rather have many people enjoy
his work then fewer people.
What materials are used in the printing of the artwork?
Photos up to the 20x 30 size will be printed by a custom print house using high
quality Kodak Photo Papers. You have a choice of two papers
1. Kodak Professional Portra Endura Paper: Matte Finish
with realistic saturation, bright colors and excellent neutral flesh tones.
2. Kodak Professional Edura Metallic Paper: Smooth finish with a
unique pearlescent surface which makes the images pop.
Is framing available?
We offer a mounting and framing option at the time of your order.
You must select one of the mounting options in order to have one of the framing
options. The frames are mounted at the edge of the print, so there is no
matting around the photo. If you desire this artistic style, you will need
to have your local framer do this. We may offer this in the future. You
have a choice of four frame styles for your selection and design needs.
Samples of these may be found by clicking
here.
What considerations should I keep in mind when framing the
prints?
Your artwork will give you many years of enjoyment if you keep some
considerations in mind:
Prints are part of the decor in the environment they are
displayed in. Prints should be mounted and framed to fit the decor.
Matting can enhance the display of the print. A glass frame cover will
help provide additional protection to the print from exposure to the air and
humidity as well as dust and dirt.
Matting materials should be acid free and made
specifically for photographs. Sometimes these materials are referred as
archival materials.
Prints should not be displayed in an area where it will
be exposed to sunlight or high levels of ultraviolet light (UV). This will
cause premature fading of the colors. Glass covers which have an added UV
protection layer or treated to offer UV protection will help to keep the prints
vibrant.
Areas of high humidity should be avoided.
If lighting will be used to illuminate prints on display, you
should use lighting specifically designed for this purpose. Using the
wrong lighting may cause damage to your print by fading the colors.
Can the images be used on my website or advertising materials?
All gallery images are copyright protected and are not permitted to be copied,
reprinted, rented, sold, or reproduced or changed in any way, either in print or
electronically, without the express written permission of Brian A.
Tricoli. Please contact us for fees for using images for advertising
purposes.
Why isn't glass framing available?
Glass framing is not available due to the high risk of the glass breaking
during shipping. If you would like to have your print framed with glass,
please visit your local framer, they should be happy to help you with that.
Is there any guarantee offered with the
